MEET DR. BARCZYK
DR. BARCZYK HAS BEEN PRACTICING FOR OVER 20 YEARS, TREATING SPINAL INJURY CASES.
He has the distinction of being the only treating doctor in Louisiana that has been qualified to testify as an expert in motor vehicle crash biomechanics. He is one of only a handful of doctors to do this nationwide. In addition to his undergraduate and doctorate degrees, Dr. Barczyk has over 250 hours of post doctorate training in biomechanics, occupant kinematics and vehicle dynamics. He also has 135 hours of post graduate study in functional neurology.
His knowledge bridges the gap between accident reconstruction, mechanism of injury, human tissue response and pain transmission. He has participated in full scale human volunteer crash testing on multiple occasions with the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (in conjunction with Texas A&M Engineering Department) and the Collision Safety Institute. He is also an Advanced Graduate in Whiplash and Brain Trauma from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. Dr. Barczyk lectures regularly to physicians, attorneys and judges regarding biomechanics, occupant risk and mechanism of injury.
